¿Os gustaría una sanidad hisponomarroquí?

No creo, sin embargo a nuestros políticos les encantaría. Y es que el estrechamiento de los lazos euroárabes continúa. Una de las últimas ocurrencias es la de a colaboración sanitaria. Digo colaboración porque es así como nos la venden, imagino que se trata de que los europeos aporten dinero y tecnología para nuestros amigos del Magreb. Es una ocurrencia de una ministra de Prodi:

Italy’s health minister Livia Turco on Thursday launched an intiative by Mediterranean and Middle East countries to co-operate in health care, including sharing research facilities, computer databanks and identifying best practices and excellence in service provision. “The plan is diplomacy in health care through which Italy wants to contribute to peace and development in the Mediterranean region,” Turco said speaking at an international conference in Rome to implement the project. The project will also involve the creation of a “command room” that will co-ordinate initiatives between, national, regional and local governments in the region as well as with universities and other research and education institutions and the private sector, Turco said.

Por cierto ¿sabía alguno de ustedes que para el 2010 se pretende crear un área de libre comercio con “el norte de África y Oriente Medio”? Yo no, pero a Prodi, el chico de la Acción Católica entregado a dar respetabilidad a izquierdista e islámicos, le parece poco

The prime minister then explained that the Barcelona Process – whose best known aspect is the creation of a free trade zone by 2010 – was no longer sufficient and a new different approach was needed. “The countries on the southern shores of the Mediterranean expect that from us” he added.

A lo que se ve, Gadafi, Mubarak, Mojamé VI de Marruecos y otros grandes hombres de semejante calibre esperan mucho más de él. Yo creo que el estaría además muy contento de dárselo. Povera Italia, e povera Europa.
