Dejé de publicar artículos sobre la Guerra de los Rehenes hace unos días porque dejé de entenderla. La impresión que sacamos de las noticias que recibimos es que el ejército israelí, que ha resuelto ataques de todos sus estados fronterizos en cuestion de días, está estancado con un grupo terrorista de 5,000 guerrilleros.
Sin embargo, hoy he encontrado en Payamas este artículo de Varifrank que nos la explica.
The key word here is “destroy”, because I think that’s exactly what Israel is up to. They don’t want to tit-for-tat Hezbollah and its proxy Iran, they wish to destroy it.
El alto el fuego o cualquier otro acuerdo será solo retrasar la guerra unos años. Con los musulmanes no vale la sabiduría de Sun Tzu, que recomienda dejar siempre un camino de salida al enemigo, para que huya. Con los terroristas musulmanes solo vale la aniquilación. Por eso, en este caso no valdrán las llamadas al alto el fuego o la negociación.

En efecto, vemos que el segundo de Hezbolá saca pecho en el Times y asegura que han estado preparando esta guerra desde hace 6 años.
