SOLO, Indonesia (CNN) — Controversial Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Ba'asyir has been released after 26 months in an Indonesian jail Wednesday, completing his prison sentence for giving his blessing to the 2002 Bali nightclub bombings that killed more than 200 people.
Ba'asyir's release was greeted by hundreds of supporters outside the prison. He is expected to travel by car to his hometown, a small village outside Solo.

A propósito de la discusión que hemos tenido Eduardo y yo en su blog (Una máquina de Coca-Cola en el Reichstag) y aquí (¿Son pacifistas las «religiones del libro»?), para que quede clara la validez de sus argumentos (difícil distinción entre guerra defensiva y ofensiva -aunque no "falta de oposición absoluta", mucho menos a efectos prácticos o como categoría historiográfica- y la relación estrecha entre cristianismo y guerra) os traigo estas reflexiones con las que concluye este post: Why The Christian Church Must Take On The Battle For The Defense Of Western Civilization:
the defense of Western Civilization is of utmost importance to the existence of Christianity. Without the protection Western Civilization provides to Freedom of Conscience, Freedom of Speech, and Democracy, Christianity itself would go into a dark age.
Queda demostrada la estrecha relación de imperio y cristianismo. Pero por si queda duda:
The Christian Church must understand that Western Civilization and the Bible go hand in hand. The Christian Church must become warriors for Western Civilization.
Igualmente, no hay "oposición absoluta" entre el uso de las razones y el de la fuerza:
